Online Learning Solutions typically fall within three levels based on the complexity of the information and the client’s budget.
Some solutions utilize all three levels:
Level 1: Communicate Knowledge or Assist Comprehension
- Knowledge transfer or set process steps/tasks
- Learning occurs in a linear fashion
- Basic pictures, graphics, and limited audio
Level 2: Apply Knowledge and Analyze the Results
- These solutions are interactive
- Course materials may be viewed in nonlinear fashion based on learner preference
- Individual steps and/or tasks typically proceed in a linear fashion
- Intermediate multimedia such as audio, animation, and limited video
Level 3: Allow the User to Synthesize and Evaluate Information
- Extensive video is used to communicate complex processes and tasks (e.g. Coaching skills) the learner has the opportunity to view, practice and repeat
- Learners view the materials in a linear or non-linear fashion
- Highest level of interactivity and professionally developed simulations
Solutions for Classroom Training (Both Virtual and In-Person) fall within three levels based on the client’s budget.
Some solutions utilize all three levels:
Level 1: Simple Content and Basic Job Aids
Level 1 solutions typically repurpose existing material into simple content and basic job aids. Simple quizzes and a class evaluation are standard.
Level 2: Deep Dive Into Materials
Level 2 solutions utilize a variety of source materials to provide a deep dive into the materials. Role playing and experiential exercises are common. The facilitator has a manual (as may the learner) and a PowerPoint deck with slides. Several job aids support the classroom experience.
Level 3: Highly Complex Projects
Level 3 solutions are reserved for highly complex projects customized to a client’s unique needs. Videos, role playing, and experiential exercises are common. Several manuals, job aids, and PowerPoint slides support the classroom experience.
Blended Learning
- Provides learners the best of the online and classroom settings.

Mobile Learning
- Targeted learning with short videos
